I, Luke Menogue, personally think the “Star Wars Kid” short video was blown out of proportion with the law suit. I understand that it was a video for him and his teacher as it was an assignment/project, but the amount of money the parents are suing for is more than they could dream of.
The students who put Ghyslain through his emotional setback in his schooling life should be doing community service for 10 hours a week for a year, as the kids are suffering and not the parents for their child’s actions.
To be honest, Ghyslain was silly enough to leave the video camera in a place where other students could get a hold of an embarrassing video. The video didn’t need to go world-wide; the school should be as far as it goes. It all works out in the long run; Ghyslain is well off, going to therapy and overcoming the bullying. This emotional setback will let him improve and give him an even better reason to succeed in life, to show that he is unstoppable.

Well written luke, but i must say saying "This emotional setback will let him improve and give him an even better reason to succeed in life, to show that he is unstoppable." Is a little bit silly. The kid went through hell it didnt improve him he almost commited suicided how does this video give him a better reason to succeed in life? Nor does it show he is unstoppable if anything it just made him realise that maybe in future dont put it on something for everyone in his school to see maybe keep it private. However everything in this blog entry I 100% agree with Luke well done!

The students should not of stolen that tape in the first place without permission from Ghyslain, its stolen property! I'm outrage about this!
